The City is seeking a proactive professional with strong management and communication skills. Experience with economic development is a plus. Candidates must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, with master’s in public administration/related preferred, and three years municipal administration experience.
Desire an individual with expertise in human resources, industrial and community development, with the ability to demonstrate a successful record of achieving program and financial objectives, including grant writing and capital improvement execution. The successful candidate will be an honest individual with integrity, open and positive communication skills, innovative and strong leadership skills and a collaborative style in working with Mayor, City Council, and an experienced, professional staff. This position plans, coordinates, and directs municipal administration under policy guidance and supervision of the Mayor and City Council. Salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $87,000 DOQ, plus benefits.
