Job Description:

Part of an IT team, this position shares support responsibilities for a broad range of technologies. The position supports users, works with outside vendors, and maintains and supports municipal applications and server systems. This position requires a broad understanding of client-server systems (Microsoft server, enterprise applications, databases, VMWare and cloud-based services). The applicant must be able to demonstrate excellent technical problem solving skills, planning and documentation excellence and proficiency with supporting applications, including financial, asset management, and document management applications. Preference will be given to experience with relevant applications and experience providing front and back-end support in a mid-sized organization or municipal environment. The applicant must be proficient in maintaining both standalone servers and SAN and blade infrastructures. Ideal experience would also include VMWare SRM experience and cloud hybrid experience. The successful candidate must be service and team oriented, understand the value of collaborative work environments, and possess a sense of humor. Starting salary range and requirements: $30.88 - $36.28 per hour. This is a full time, benefited position. Bachelor’s degree and three years of professional experience minimum.
