Job description

The City Administrator oversees the day-to-day operations of the city. Works with the Admin, Fire, Police, and Public Works Department Heads to ensure the city operates effectively and efficiently based on policy set by the City Council. The City Administrator is the primary planner and economic development leader for the city. Oversees personnel issues, including providing hiring/firing recommendations to the Mayor, for all employees. 

Experience required

Five years of management experience; 2 years municipal management experience or equivalent; 

Education required

Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field is required; masters degree is desirable.
