Job Description:

BOONTON TOWN (Morris County). Full-time opportunity for a Keyboarding Clerk to perform routine clerical work, support operations, functions and programs within the Boonton Police Department.  Reporting to the Chief of Police, the ideal candidate will perform administrative, organizational, secretarial, clerical and public relations duties for the Police Department.  Type and process reports, memoranda and correspondence.  Process purchase requisitions, orders, budget documents, payroll and other financial data.  Produce police reports and maintain departmental records. Provide assistance and support to police officers, outside agencies, other departments and the public.   Position requires strong organization, computer and communications skills as well as the ability to maintain confidentiality.  College graduate a plus but not necessary, police department experience preferred.  Salary DOQ.  Submit cover letter and resume with salary history via email to Mayor Matthew DiLauri MDilauri@Boonton.org by June 9, 2017.
