Summary

The City of Bend is currently seeking qualified applicants to establish an Ambulance Operator eligibility list with the Bend Fire & Rescue Basic Life Support Program. Our Goal is to hire 6 Ambulance Operators. Positions include full and part time, as well as on call/intermittent. The Ambulance Operator position is limited term duration, with a maximum of three years of service. Under general supervision, this position provides basic medical care and transport of the ill and injured as an Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMT-B).
 
Testing is scheduled for May 30 - 31, 2024. Applicants must be available for testing both days.
 
Bend Fire & Rescue anticipates a two-week academy for Ambulance Operators from July 8, - July 19, 2024, Monday through Friday 0800-1700.
