The Main Menu Begins with Reports
Clicking on Reports begins the report writing process starting with the Incident information, which includes:
In Add Persons, the user would select a reporting person or complainant. In the case of a suspect or missing persons, the choices would reveal more fields for a detailed description of that person. Also available is the ability to add two images. Images can be stored in your files or you can use the camera on you tablet or smartphone to add a photo or image you wish to include in your report.
Entering a last name in persons section will result in an automatic check of the database for a person with the last name and will populate the remaining fields of the form. This is also based on the entry of the first name.
Entering a list of property is easily completed as most of the fields are drop down. If entering a serial number, the RMS automatically checks the database for any property with the same serial number and auto fills the property fields with any existing data. A maximum of two images may be added to this section of the report.
When adding a vehicle to the report, if you enter a serial number or tag number, the RMS will search the database for any matching vehicles. A maximum of two images may be added to this section of the report.
In the narrative section, enter any additional information you wish to add to your report. A maximum of two images may be added to this section of the report.
